The Phantom of the opera – 20-03-2022
In 2022, Noora was selected to participate in the Mawhibatty performance of The Phantom of the Opera, staged beneath the iconic Al Wasl Plaza Dome at Expo 2020 Dubai. This production was presented as part of the Expo Young Stars Programme, a highly competitive initiative dedicated to showcasing exceptional emerging talent.
Under the guidance of Ms. Gulmira from the Music Expert at the Department of Culture and Tourism, Noora took on the role of Christine Daaé, the principal female lead of the production. Portraying such a demanding and iconic role on one of the world’s most prestigious international stages marked a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
This opportunity represented not only a major professional achievement, but also a rare platform to perform at a global cultural event, affirming her artistic potential and establishing her presence as a rising performer on an international stage
2025 had the opportunity to participate in a two weeks intensive workshop in Lokadharmi Centre for Theatre Training and Research in Kochi.
Training was guided by Mr.Patrick Vella from Malta – Ms.Kathleen Bell from USA and lovingly facilitated by Chandradasan Sir we explored the power of voice in performance- how to use it, embody it and connect it to storytelling in deeper ways.
In June 2025, Noora performed in Seussical the Musical as part of the ensemble, while also portraying a featured Who character. In addition to her onstage roles, she served as an understudy for two of the Bird Girls, gaining valuable experience in versatility, adaptability, and character work within a fast-paced production environment.
Seussical proved to be a refreshing and transformative experience for Noora, introducing her to large-scale dance numbers, heightened physical storytelling, and a playful yet meaningful character journey. The production challenged her to explore a new performance style while embracing joy, imagination, and ensemble-driven storytelling.
Seussical the Musical, by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, brings to life the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, weaving together several of his beloved stories that have captivated audiences of all ages. SPAA’s bold interpretation infused the production with emotional depth and contemporary relevance, emphasizing that the values and lessons learned in childhood need not exist in a cartoon world to remain meaningful.
Through vibrant visuals, dynamic choreography, and compelling music, the production encouraged audiences to reconnect with imagination, creativity, and unity. Above all, SPAA’s Seussical celebrated the power of belief—reminding us that embracing our differences and trusting in possibility allows anything to be achieved.
